Historical Influence

Kiov is based on the complex medieval east, wherein a blend of Slavic, Hellenic, Anatolian, and Roman cultures culminated under one banner, that of the Eastern Roman Empire, the Byzantines. RP uses greek, as it is the lore language of the Kiov, as well as Byzantine iconography like the red and gold cross, and the eagle. The Kingdom shares many values with the Byzantines, such as honor, traditionalism, and morality.
